“Como Me Da La Gana” translates to “I do what I want when I want”, which is exactly what Daniel Santos did. A native to Santruce, Puerto Rico, formerly a singer in the band Cuanto Flores. Afterward, he decided to venture into a solo and plant his voice in Cuba. Once entering Cuba, he formed a relationship with a band called La Sonora Matancera. Resulting in the song “Como Me Da La Gana”. Daniel Santos certainly lived as the title of the song, around the Cuban streets he was considered the playboy or party guy. All of the girls loved him, while all the men wanted to party with him. He had a bright light when entering a room and knew it too.
